1 1/4 cups water
|

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup sliced carrots

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup flour

|
3 cups chicken broth
|

1 cup heavy whipping cream
|

2 cups cooked diced chicken

Instructions |

|
Preheat oven to 325. Combine rice and seasoning packet with the 1 ¼ cup water in a 8x8 pan. Bake for 1 hour.

Sauté onions, celery, and carrots in butter until onions start to soften. Stir in flour. Add broth and stir until thickened.

|
Add rice, cream, and chicken. Cook 5 min until heated through.
