Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper in a jar with a very tight lid. Shake well until sugar is dissolved and the dressing is blended. Set aside in the refrigerator.
Combine all salad ingredients and pour dressing over, tossing to coat.
Could substiture good seasons Italian salad dressing package (you can find it with the salad dressings) and use olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, no sugar,no celery seed, no salt or peper needed. Could use spring greens instead of butter lettuce and I used 3 different kinds of pears. I also used toasted almonds with Brown sugar and Gorgonzola cheese for more flavor instead of the blue cheese.
