Melt butter in mixing bowl. Beat eggs in and stir in remaining ingred, except nuts. Stir in nuts until coated. Pour into pie crust.
Bake at 350 for 45 min to 1 hour. If crust starts to get too brown, cover crust with strips of aluminum foil. Check for doneness by lifting a nut in center of pie with a knife. Filling should look; no longer runny, but more airy and thick.
