Combine brown sugar, milk, and chocolate in
microwave and heat until chocolate is melted.
Cool. Add butter and margarine to cooled choc.
mixture and mix thoroughly. Add 2 egg yolks,
vanilla, almond, and cream. Add 4 cups powdered
sugar gradually, creaming until well blended.

Combine 2 cups of the chocolate mixture above (use
rest for icing) with 1/2 cup margarine and mix
well. Add whole eggs and 2 egg whites. Cream until
fluffy. Add flour, baking soda, salt, alternating
with buttermilk. Pour into 9 in greased and
floured pans (or use wax paper). Bake at 350 for
30 minutes (do not overbake). Leave in pan 5 mins,
remove and cool on racks. Add remaining 1 cup
powdered sugar and hot milk to remaining chocolate
mixture. Beat until consistency of icing. Frost
cake.
