Combine 1 stick of butter, garlic, Lea & Perrins sauce, and Cajun seasoning blend in a large skillet over high heat. When the butter is melted, add the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes shaking pan back and forth.
Add remaining 1/2 stick butter and BBQ sauce. Cook and shake for another 2 minutes Add beer and cook and shake for 1 minute longer.
Remove from heat and serve with lots of French bread and rice.
