1/2 stick butter
|
|
1 onion, chopped
|
|
1 cup diced celery
|
|
2 cups water
|
|
1 bouillon cube
|
|
1 cup brown rice
|
|
1 large bag frozen broccoli
|
|
1 can water chestnuts, drained
|
|
1 can chicken and mushroom soup
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
In large dutch oven, melt butter. Saute onion and celery.
|
|
|
Add water, bouillon cube and rice. Bring all to a boil and add broccoli.
|
|
|
Keep everything layered - do not stir. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
|
|
|
Add water chestnuts, soup and Cheese Whiz, stirring all together.
|
