Dissolve yeast in 1/8 c. water. Stir in remaining water and sugar.
Beat until smooth. Add flour, knead until elastic. Shape into
pretzels.
Heat oven to 475.
Fill pan with water. Add 2 tbs. baking soda for each cup of water
used. Boil.
Place twisted pretzels in water for 15 seconds or until golden.
Remove from boiling water and drain. Place on salted cookie sheet.
Salt top of pretzels with course salt and bake for 5 min.
