1/4 pound bow tie pasta
|

1 tablespoon butter
|
|
1 tablespoon flour
|
|
1 1/4 cup milk
|
|
1/4 teaspoon dry ground mustard
|
|
1/4 cup green peas
|
|
1/4 cup carrots diced
|
|
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
|
|
2 slices cooked ham, beef, or chicken diced
|

Instructions |

|
Cook pasta, while pasta is cooking melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in flour
|

|
Whisk in the milk and mustard, add the peas and carrots, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 3 min
|
|
|
Stir in cheese and remove from heat, continuing to stir until cheese is melted. Add meat to the mixture
|
|
|
Drain water from the pasta, and in a large bowl toss the meat and cheese mixture with pasta. Serve warm
|
