Preheat oven to 180C. Add milk to lemon juice and let it stand for 5 mins.

Cream butter and sugar together, add the eggs and vanilla essence and mix.
|

|
sift in the flour and then add the bicarb, baking powder and cocoa and mix well. Add milk gradually, beat until a stiff batter.
|
|
|
Dollop teaspoonfulls of the mixture onto a baking sheet. Bake at 180C for 10 - 15 mins.
