3 cups water

1 cup red wine

1 onion

1 tsp pepper

1 1/2 tsp garlic pwd.

1 tsp. rosemary crushed
|
|

1 tsp oregano
|
|
1 tsp basil, and 2 bay leaves

1 small can tomato paste
|
|
2 cups cubed peeled potato
|
|
2 cups sliced carrots
|
|
1 cup sliced celery
|
|
n1 10 oz. pckg each frozen beans. peas and corn
|
|
1/4 lb mushrooms
|
|
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Brown meat in oil, in dutch oven. Add water, wine,onion,seasonings and tomato paste.
Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender
|
|
|
Stir in potatoes, carrots and celery and simmer 30 minutes.
|
|
|
Add additional water if necessary, stir in remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 20
minutes
|
