Bring broth to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add rice, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 35-40 minutes until rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Meanwhile, heat oil in small pan. Add garlic and saute until just beginning to brown. Add garlic and green onion to cooked rice, fluffing with a fork to combine.
